Rescue dogs are taking part in an adorable fashion show in Vancouver
FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
Dog lovers and fashion enthusiasts, there’s something special happening in Vancouver this weekend ā and it’s going to melt your heart.
On Sunday, May 12 Catwalk for Dogs will be taking over Vancouver’s beautiful Cooper’s Park. Sponsored by local sportswear brand French Lime, the event will see the cutest rescue dogs imaginable take to the catwalk with vet and SPCA volunteer models.
Human models will be wearing the latest designs by French Lime and their superstar furry friends could be wearing some cute local designs, too! The four-legged models will also be highlighting positive stories of transition and adoption.
The goal of the event (aside from leaving you feeling warm and fuzzy inside), is to raise awareness and proceeds for Black Dog Rescue Society of BC. As well as this, it hopes to help some of their dog models find a suitable home through adoption. So if you’ve been hoping to adopt a four-legged friend, this could be your chance.

During the Catwalk for Dogs, you’ll have the chance to see French Lime’s stunning collection of ethical pieces. The brand is body-positive, versatile, and designs playful pieces that you can wear while working out or doing everyday tasks.
Everything is Canadian-manufactured with eco-poly sustainable material, so it’s athleisure that you can feel good about wearing.

Each piece is inspired by the brand’s owner, Denise, who travels around the world and creates the designs for her garments from personal travel photographs. She renders the photographs into digital images which are then used for the prints.
Denise grew up in Mexico City where there were many homeless dogs around her, and today, she feels lucky to be able to give back to an organization likeĀ Black Dog Rescue Society.Ā Her vision for French Lime is to support social causes and make a positive impact in society.
