Free Outdoor Movie in Stanley Park screening of Mrs. Doubtfire in tribute of Robin Williams tonight

DH Vancouver Staff Aug 12, 2014 8:18 am

After yesterday’s sad news of the passing of Robin Williams, Fresh Air Cinema received many emails and phone requests from viewers to see the comedy legend on the big screen one more time in Stanley Park.

In loving tribute to his enduring genius, Fresh Air Cinema has chosen to change tonight’s Chevron Summer Cinema series free outdoor movie to 1994’s classic, Mrs. Doubtfire – replacing the scheduled screening of Ghost.

The free film presentation of Mrs. Doubtfire starts at dusk (approximately 8:45 p.m.) at Second Beach’s Ceperley Meadows in Stanley Park (between Second Beach Pool and the children’s playground), so bring your lawn chair or blanket and your family and friends to enjoy the special movie magic that Robin Williams brought to the world.
