There’s no better way to celebrate the end of an amazing season than with a free outdoor festival in a serene setting.

You can experience all of this and more at Wesbrook Village Festival on Saturday, September 8. The annual festival is a fusion of fun, food, and entertainment located south of West 16th Avenue on a pristine peninsula surrounded by sweeping ocean views.

Wesbrook VillageĀ is a collection of shops and residences on Vancouver’s westĀ side. It’s got the perfect balance of urban village and natural setting situated next to Pacific Spirit Regional Park and UBC Farm. And you can enjoy all of this and more at the upcoming festival.

Enjoy a sidewalk sale where retailers and artisans will be showcasing products with interactive games and contests.

Indulge in tasty BBQ fare during the free signature BBQ lunch (hamburger or hotdog with all the fixings), and delight in delicious samples from local eateries and community retailers including Doughgirls Comfort Kitchen and Bakeshop, Blenz Coffee, and Virtuous Pie (for vegan and vegetarian options).Ā

Bring the kids along to see star musicianĀ Will StroetĀ of the CBC Kids TV seriesĀ Willā€™s Jams,Ā Vancouverā€™s favourite Dance Band (celebrating over 20 years of spreading the joy) Dr. Strangelove, vintage vocal trio the Beauty Shop Dolls, as well as musical energy from AchĆ© BrasilĀ on the TD Stage.

There’s also going to be a kids zone complete with face-painting, craft tables, bouncy castles, and even a rock climbing wall.

TD will be having their WesbrookĀ Village grand opening during the festival, too!

Parking is free at the event and the community is on various bus routes, including routeĀ 41.

See you there!
