Dec 19 2017, 10:17 pm

Goodbye winter, hello spring! On Monday, March 16, Dairy Queen will be giving out free ice cream as part of the company’s 75th anniversary celebrations this year.

The offer on ‘Free Cone Day,’ just days before spring officially begins, is valid at participating Dairy Queen locations in Canada and the United States. Customers can receive one small vanilla soft-serve cone for free throughout the day while supplies last.

The Minneapolis-based chain is owned by Warren Buffet and has over 6,400 restaurants in 27 countries. The first location opened in 1940 in Illinois while the first Canadian location opened in 1953 in Saskatchewan.
