Free heritage home for the taking in North Vancouver

A North Vancouver developer is giving away a century-old heritage home so his company can develop the lot.

The Edwardian-era home, named the Ward Residence for its previous owner, is located on East 5th Street in North Vancouver and was built in 1909. The Tien Sher Construction Group will be developing the adjacent heritage home and told Global BC that the City of North Vancouver did not require them to keep this one.

The house next door, the King Residence, will be restored by the group and will form part of Tien Sher’s new development.

According to ‘I Love Heritage – Real Estate and Living‘ on Facebook, the developers will provide more information about the condition of the house at the end of the month, but they are looking for someone to move the home to a vacant lot by May.

Anyone interested in picking up the house can contact Charan Seti at Tien Sher Construction Group at [email protected].
