Free CelticFest events this weekend: Celtic Village & Street Market

Dec 19 2017, 5:57 pm

The 10th annual CelticFest Vancouver is going into its final weekend, and with it comes a weekend of free events in downtown Vancouver!

This Saturday and Sunday, the Celtic Village and Street Market fills both Granville Street between Robson & Nelson and has also expanded into Robson Square with music, dance, fun and frolic, food and shopping! The free weekend-long street fair features music from some of the hottest Celtic music groups around the Mahony & Sons Music Stage, performances from a range of dynamic local dance troupes on the CelticFest Community Stage (at Robson Square), as well as a range of fabulous street performances at various Celtic Village locations.

If you’re looking to do some shopping, you’ll want to check out the Street Market on Granville Street where they’ll have a dizzying array of Celtic treasures and the works of gifted artisans. Be sure to sample some of the food too!
