The ultimate French rendez-vous is happening in Vancouver this weekend.  Before supporting the French team during the World Cup final game on Sunday, find out what a real French party looks like.

On Saturday, July 14, for the fourth year, Bastille Day Festival is welcoming you at the Roundhouse Community Art and Recreation Centre in Yaletown for a full day of French cultural celebrations.

Kicking off at 10 am, the event is open to Vancouverites of all ages, whether you’re French, speak French, or if you want to immerse yourself in a Parisian-inspired atmosphere. It’s set to run through to 11 pm, giving you the option to stop by at any time during the day.

To make it better, admission is… completely free.

Rejoice in the French “art de vivre” (the art of living) with a French market, live music, vintage car parade, collaborative artwork, and some of the best French-style crêpes you’ll find in Vancouver.

Taste some French brews, as well as an all-day wine and cheese party in the beer garden. Since France is renowned for its wine and cheese, this is one party you don’t want to miss.

It doesn’t end there.

You’ll also have the chance to participate in a raffle for the chance to win one round-trip ticket to Paris with Air France, among many other prizes like soccer game tickets, gift certificates to local French restaurants and many more.

The Eiffel Tower is just a ticket away for one lucky winner.

When the live music ends, a DJ will be taking over the stage and the dance floor will be yours until late.
