Fans have become accustomed to seeing every single Vancouver Canucks game televised on Sportsnet, but that won’t be the case for the second year in a row.
Prime Video began airing NHL games in Canada last season after Amazon purchased broadcast rights from Sportsnet, making a selection of Canucks games exclusive to streaming for the first time.
Four Canucks games will be streamed exclusively on Prime Monday Night Hockey in the 2025-26 season.

It begins with Vancouver’s third game of the season on Thanksgiving Monday (Oct. 13), against the St. Louis Blues. The Canucks’ first game against Rick Tocchet and the Philadelphia Flyers will be on Prime (Dec. 22), as will Vancouver’s only visit to Montreal on Jan. 12.
The final Canucks game on Prime is set for March 9, when the Ottawa Senators visit Rogers Arena. That game is a rare 6 p.m. weekday start, presumably to appeal to a national audience.

Prime Video will broadcast at least one NHL game every Monday night, available across Canada, at no additional cost to Prime members. Prime offers free 30-day trials, with a cost of $9.99 plus tax after that.
The full television schedule has yet to be revealed, though Vancouver’s other 78 games will be Sportsnet broadcasts. Last season, Sportsnet’s regional broadcast team consisted of John Shorthouse with Ray Ferraro or Dave Tomlinson, along with Dan Murphy as host.
