Allow me to start this off by saying I am biased. Fortune Sound Club is my favorite “club” in Vancouver. They play the best music on club nights, they host the best hip hop shows, they have the hottest coat check girls in town and it is owned by the best promotion duo in town: GMANandRIZK. The duo of Garrett and Rob renovated an old Chinese restaurant in Chinatown back in 2009 and here we are two years later and they are about to celebrate the 2 Year Anniversary of the club.
Considering the fact that over the two years that the club has been open Fortune has hosted some HUGE events. Das Racist, J. Cole, GZA, Mickey Avalon and countless local artists have taken the stage at the E. Pender club and to celebrate the 2 Year Anniversary they are bringing in a nice combination of local and international artists.
Top billing on October 12th is going to Skerrit Bwoy (Major Lazer). He is going to be joined on this night with Rico Uno, Sincerely Hana, Marlon J. English, Rob Rizk, Cherchez and Genie. All this on one night!
