Food Carts Have Arrived in Queen Elizabeth & Stanley Park

Vancouverites love their food carts and now they have the option of grabbing some grub at the city’s two most famous parks. This past weekend the first three food carts (of a pilot project to test food carts at city parks) were launched. Two food carts are now open for business at Stanley Park and one near the Bloedel Conservatory at Queen Elizabeth Park.

Pizza lovers can get their fix near the Bloedel Conservatory wit some wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas. In Stanley Park the two food carts will be serving up fish tacos and fruit salads/smoothies.

Since the mass introduction of food carts, Vancouverites have indulged in droves. The initial project was deemed successful and this year the city added 12 new carts to the already 100 food carts in the city.
