The annual Flints Prints x Money Hungry summer block party gives back to East Van
Every summer Money Hungry, Flints Prints, and Shop Wrong come together to produce an event for the community of East Vancouver.
Free to attend and open to all ages, the block party will feature a BBQ by donation, a clothing sale, lots of activities for kids, a collaborative mural painting, and a show and shine.
“Collectively our platforms have created jobs, community awareness, and affordable/pro bono services ranging from printing, audio/video production, photography, and always opened doors to young creative individuals who don’t have the resources or tools to fully explore their passions,” explains Rikko Flintroy from Flints Prints.

“We host this block party for the people because without them none of the music, the clothes, the shows or anything would mean anything without the community supporting,” says Flintroy. “Our goal this year is to raise money for Swishing Mission; a collection of donations to add a net to many of the basketball hoops around East Van for the kids.”
