First annual CannaFest takes place on November 15

BC Pain Society proudly presents the first annual CannaFest, comedian Shuli Egar will host the inaugural event featuring rock legends Helix, Headpins and Prism. Catalyst from the kootenays will be kicking off the event which will start at 4:20 Saturday November 15 at the Croatian Cultural Centre on commercial Drive in Vancouver.

The event will feature local vendors and other dispensaries selling their goods and promoting their products. One vendor is local rock and roll photographer Dee Lippingwell who has photographed many celebrities over the years including, Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Tony Bennett, The Police, Rolling Stones, Diana Ross, Loverboy, Bryan Adams and many more, she will be selling and autographing her all new coffee table book.

Cancer has touched each and every one of us and BC Pain Society wants to bring awareness to the healing properties of the cannabis plant and inform people that there are alternatives to the traditional cancer treatments.
