Surrey RCMP are asking for witnesses to last night’s fiery head-on collision between a semi-truck and pick-up truck on Highway 15.

At approximately 8 p.m., a semi-truck driving north on 176th Street collided with a pick-up truck traveling south on 176th Street while making a left turn at 88th Avenue.

The loaded semi-truck continued through the intersection, going off the road and into a ditch where it burst into flames.

Both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The area was closed off throughout the night in order for police to carry out their investigation.
