You can expect all sorts of festive fall fun this autumn at the Vancouver Aquarium

Who says there’s no autumn under the sea?!
The Vancouver Aquarium is proving that the best place to experience fall is with 65,000 animals and sea creatures at Fin-tastic Fall Days.
Want to uncover underwater wonders? Navigate a mysterious kelp maze? Or, because it wouldnât be fall without a little spookiness, enjoy some Halloween thrillsâŠ
Hereâs whatâs making waves this season.
Fang-tastic new experiences
The creatures at the Vancouver Aquarium sure love fall, which is why you can expect a bunch of seasonal talks, daily animal feeds, and other all-ages programming.
Trick-or-treat your way through each Bat House in the signature scavenger hunt, or, if creepy-crawly creatures are more your style, brace yourself for a 4D adventure that brings rainforest insects to life on the big screen â it’s sure to be a whole lot of squirm-worthy fun.
And just when you think it canât get any cooler, you can catch divers carving jaw-dropping Jack-O-Lanterns beneath the waves of an aquarium habitat, happening daily starting Oct. 18!
If you need to take a break, grab a hot chocolate from a souvenir bat mug or snack on a seasonal treat at the Courtyard Café or or the Upstream Bar and Grill.
Canada’s first aquarium
And all that wonder is on top of the regular exhibits and programming, so you can still embark on tried-and-true favourites.
Step into the Wet Lab for hands-on learning, be transported to the heart of the ocean with the Undersea Explorer VR, and say hello to your favourite animals â from otters, sharks, snakes, and more.
As Canadaâs first and largest aquarium, the Vancouver Aquarium has welcomed over 40 million visitors from around the world since opening in 1956. Itâs easy to take something so spectacular for granted, but this internationally recognized aquarium is one of approximately 48 in North America, and it’s truly a must-see.
No matter if you’re a local who hasn’t been in years or a first-time visitor, be sure to stop by this fall. This unforgettable seal-ebration is happening from Sept. 27 to Oct. 31.
A single admission fee is worth every penny, but an annual membership pays for itself in just two or three trips, giving you unlimited chances to explore all year long.
