With back-to-school just around the corner, shopping is on the top of mind for many. One of the best shopping destinations in the Lower Mainland is Metropolis at Metrotown. Right now, you’ll find plenty of deals and steals and won’t have a problem making your dollar stretch.

A few weeks ago, Vancity Buzz was invited to a Fashion Blogger Challenge at Metropolis at Metrotown to kick-off their Find What You Love Sale along with The Conveyer Belt, The Style Spy and Modern Mix Vancouver. The challenge was simple: spend $100 on things you love — simple, right?
Two hours later, we re-grouped to assess the goods and to determine the winner. Here are a few photos of the spoils.
The Conveyer Belt: black pants from Plenty, blazer, bralet, sandels.
The Style Spy: aztec shorts, colours belts, denim button up, coloured denim and lace top.
Modern Mix Vancouver: Green top from Zara, grey shorts from Aritizia, underwear, belt and accessories.
Vancity Buzz: Black dress from H&M ($19), floral top from H&M ($19), coloured denim from H&M ($29), belts from Suzie Shier ($6), accessory ($5).
In the end, it was Modern Mix Vancouver who won for her purchases from a variety of different stores, including some high price tags which were marked down for considerably less.
