Fifty Shades of Grey NOT leaving Vancouver for Miami

Contrary to reports out of a Spanish news agency, fear not Fifty Shades fans, the movie is sticking around.

“The production team for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie has decided to shoot scenes in Miami this week after cancelling filming in Vancouver, Canada, due to bad weather, representatives of the production company told EFE.”

The post claims inclement weather in Vancouver has caused the move, however the book is set in Seattle and is filming mostly interior scenes (including Red Room of Pain scenes) which are not affected by the weather at all.

The article then goes on to claim the three books are being condensed into one film, which is a certain giveaway to the false information. Author E.L. James has vocalized on Twitter that three individual movies will be made.

Fifty Shades of Grey starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will film in Vancouver until February 20, 2014.
