A notable moment on Twitter? When I got everyone excited about poutine! The butter chicken poutine and poutine pizza tweets generated quite some hype. I guess you could call me a poutine expert.
Your best Tweet: I was one of the first to tweet about the Vancouver clean-up initiative. The response was enormous! It was very exciting to see everyone supporting and getting pumped to help with the riot-aftermath.
What did you want to be growing up? I have always wanted to be a television host since I was in elementary school. I’ve never been as close to achieving this dream until just this past year.
If you could have dinner with 1 person (live or dead) who would it be? It’d have to be Lisa Ling. Her investigative pieces inspire me, and in the near future, I hope to produce works like hers that bring in new perspective and make people think. There’s so much I can learn from her.
Your claim to fame: My yellowrainbootz! When fellow tweeps see other females in yellow rain boots, they’d think it’s me. And I think I need to credit my bright footwear for some of the times that I’ve been recognized in public.
Do you know of a hidden gem in our city? Go Fish! I love this place. It’s just outside of Granville Island and it serves the best fish and chips and fish tacos ever! Suddenly, I feel hungry…
If you were a superhero, who would you be and why? Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight…I’d be the one named Sailor Moon.
If you were a vegetable, what would you be and why? Nothing beats beets. I’d be a beet for sure, especially because I am easily embarrassed and turn red.
