Federal leaders are holding rallies in Vancouver in a last ditch effort to gain more B.C. votes.

Liberal leader Justin Trudeau will be in town hosting a rally on Sunday, October 18, the day before the election in North Vancouver, while NDP leader Thomas Mulcair will be holding a rally on Saturday, October 17 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Elsewhere Prime Minister Stephen Harper is set to make a last ditch effort for Vancouver votes with an appearance in Abbotsford on Sunday. Harper will spend the day campaigning in the traditionally Conservative riding, which has been held by the party since turning blue in 2006.

It seems Green Party leader Elizabeth May is sticking to Vancouver Island to gain extra votes. May is launching her “Green Tour Bus” today, October 16, and it’ll continue until Sunday, October 18. She’ll be making stops all over the Island, including Courtenay, Campbell River and Qualicum Beach.

It’s unlikely that any of the federal leaders will announce anything new that hasn’t already been said in their platforms.
