A 41-year-old has died less than a day after he collided with a transport truck while riding a motorcycle in Point Grey.

The collision at West 4th Avenue and Blanca Street closed the intersection for several hours Thursday evening.

The truck was making a left-hand turn at the intersection at the time of the crash.

The victim has been identified as Vancouverite Randolph Krumme.

In a statement, the VPD said its Collision Investigation Unit is now working to determine what led to the fatal crash.
