Fashion fix - The Fringe binge.

Dec 19 2017, 1:36 pm

Happy Tuesday everyone! Are you rested?  Recovering? Or maybe a bit of both? Whatever the case, we can all agree this past weekend’s weather was on another level 🙂  Rarely does Vancouver bless us with sun but when she does I feel like everyone switches gears and comes out to play. I saw people in shorts (myself included) and flip flops, it was a beautiful thing.

The one thing I was excited to see were..collar bones! I have a thing for collar bones, there’s something so attractive about them (don’t ask me why). Some folks like the bum, I like the bones that pertrude out of your chest. YUM. They may not be the sexiest feature but they make a great backdrop for necklaces, don’t you agree? I’ve been all over this fringe craze and wanted to share the look with you.

1. Forever21 – 3  Tone Fringe necklace $9.80 / 2. Forever 21 – Colorblock Necklace $9.80 / 3. Forever 21 – Crescent Fringe necklace $17.80

For those that are slow to this fringe movement but want in, these are a great way to start. Pieces that won’t break the bank, I got you don’t worry! These will work with any simple LBD (little black dress) or just throw  it on to a white blouse and blank pant ensemble.  Don’t be afraid of fringe, fringe is your friend.

1. House of Harlow necklace $135.00 / 2. Fossil Fringe necklace $95 $63.00 / 3.  Vanessa Mooney Femme Fatale Necklace $110.00

A bit higher in price, a bit bolder in style. I’ve been eyeing that House of Harlow piece for a minute, how adorable is that? Simple, subtle but definitely not boring. And don’t get me started on that middle piece, I’ve already imagined myself wearing it with a high bun do and red lips, screams come hither.

This is for all ladies who want to break the bank and get fringed royally, these are my 3 favorite designer picks. 1. Dannijo Galapegos necklace $995.00 / 2. Luv AJ Chainmaille necklace $451 $322.00 / 3. Aris Geldis Tassle Necklace $549.00.

I know what you’re thinking, that Dannijo necklace was love at first sight for me too 🙂 Can you imagine how fun it’d be to whip your hair back and forth with a fringe necklace on?? As much fun as these necklaces are, I know it’s not always easy to wear something so in your face, and bold. But that’s why you have me! If I can do it, you can do it too. So, who’s with me on this fringe binge?

Okay, I’ll go first.

Picked up this yellow piece on the weekend. Your turn!

If you’re not feelin the fringe yet, peep Vickyloves for a DIY woven braid chain necklace. Maybe that will get your collar bones quivering. Until then, catch me here and here! Ciao, gorgeous.
