FarParker.com, a website dedicated to offering a fun, online extension to lovers of (beer league) hockey, is proud to be offering its second charity girls calendar to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s battle against blood cancer. Having known several friends, family and teammates over the past several years who fought various forms of blood cancers, their team felt offering a product like this would be a great way to give back.
Teammate Bill G nearly missed the entire 2011-12 beer league hockey season from his battle with blood cancer, but fought his way through the ordeal and returned to the team in September. Upon finding out about the calendar, he was thankful. “Every dime that is raised from efforts like yours saved someone like me, and the support I received at LLS Canada was simply the best on Earth…and helped me get back to my game. Thank you for helping my fight,” says Bill.
Once again, the FarParker 2013 Charity Girls Calendar is available for sale to help raise funds for www.LLSCanada.org and they’re asking for your help.
