Farm fresh food direct to Metro Vancouver’s office workers. That is the concept of the new farm market food cart, Fresh Cart.

This summer, Vancouver’s newest food cart will occupy a spot at Robson Square and will deliver to the office direct from the farm baskets of fresh fruit, veggies and honey.

According to The Vancouver Sun, Fresh Cart is a partnership between farmers and popular food truck, Re-Up BBQ. Fresh Cart will serve Re-Up bacon, fruit. vegetables and salads prepared by Maenam Thai restaurant, local honey, fresh ice cream and more.

Video gaming giant Electronic Arts has already signed on to the food basket program.
