The man who allegedly served as the eyes and ears in the Maple Batalia killing has been found not guilty of manslaughter.
But Gursimar Singh Bedi is guilty of being an accessory after the fact in the case.
Ex-boyfriend Gurjinder “Gary” Dhaliwal shot Batalia three times, and slashed her head.
Batalia had been studying at Simon Fraser University’s Surrey Campus, leaving at around one in the morning on September 28th, 2011 when the killing happened.
Dhaliwal pleaded guilty to second-degree murder back in March.
