Expo and Millennium Line delays due to medical emergency at Lougheed Station
UPDATE at 9:40 p.m. – Lougheed Station has partially reopened to both directions through the use of a single track on the westbound track. The eastbound track remains closed. As limited train service is now servicing Lougheed Station, the bus bridge has ended.
Earlier this evening at 8:46 p.m. – Train service on both the SkyTrain Expo and Millennium Lines is currently on a systemwide hold.
Just before 8:30 p.m., a medical emergency occurred at Lougheed Station. A resident living in one of the condominium towers near the station told Vancity Buzz that there are seven fire trucks, two ambulances and approximately six police patrol vehicles attending to the scene.
Trains are not moving through the Sapperton to Production Station spans of the Millennium Line; trains are not servicing Lougheed Station where the incident occurred.
A bus bridge is being formed between Sapperton and Production Stations.
