South Korean boyband sensation EXO are set to take Vancouver by storm on Friday, February 12.

EXO From Exoplanet #2: The EXO’luXion Tour in North America will mark the band’s first visit to Canada, and Vancouver is the only Canadian date on their five-city tour. The group became a worldwide phenomenon in 2013 with their debut album XOXO. The disc sold more than a million copies and EXO became the highest-charting Korean male act to ever grace a Billboard chart.

2015’s “Lightsaber” was used to promote Star Wars: The Force Awakens in Korea and some of the proceeds from their most recent album Sing For You will go to Smile for U, a UNICEF project that aids music educational charitable work for kids in Asia.

Even though the band is based in Korea, EXO is separated into two smaller groups: EXO-M, a Chinese Mandarin performance group, and EXO-K, a Korean group. According to a video on the band’s website, EXO-M and EXO-K represent two halves of the tree of life.
