The 32-storey pin-stripe curtain wall of the Exchange Tower is designed by Swiss-based Harry Gugger Architecture, whose portfolio includes the iconic “Bird’s Nest” in Beijing’s National Stadium, resulting in a classic contemporary design and swank 1920s art-deco inspired atmosphere. It has been designed to LEED Platinum status, that is, to a high environmental standard, focusing on energy efficiency.
Each room or suite in the four-star boutique hotel offers up customized luxury with curated custom wall art murals, inlaid herringbone designed hardwood floors, and all-marble bathrooms. You will also find luxury amenities, imported luxury linens, exquisite artwork, and luxurious products from L’Occitane — so really, everything you need to pamper yourself.
The hotel’s exclusive Dividend Floor features specialty suites including the aptly-named Blue Chip Suite and Patio Suite, exuding glamour and charm with their expansive windows, private rooftop courts, and glorious marble wet rooms with elegant antique bathtubs.

The EXchange Hotel Vancouver is home to several dining establishments including Hydra Café, a mirrored coffee bar modelled after The Philosopher’s Library in Greece, for those who want to enjoy their espressos or craft cocktails under sustainable woodcraft shelves with wood slab books.
Visitors can also look forward to the opening of Hydra Estiatorio Mediterranean in March, a stylish bar and 110-seat restaurant experience named after the coveted island in Greece. Under Chef Mark Greenfield’s culinary direction, the establishment will feature modern classics in a seaside-inspired setting. The perfect location for an intimate night out, it will feature rich hardwood floors and fashionable sheer drapes echoing the feel of beachside restaurants in Mykonos.
