Evo Car Share expands in Surrey with new one-way locations

Evo Car Share has expanded its one-way service into Surrey for the first time, adding designated vehicle locations at Guildford Town Centre and SkyTrain’s Surrey Central Station.

The two locations allow Evo members to begin or end trips in Surrey while travelling to and from the company’s broader Metro Vancouver Home Zone. The expansion is aimed at giving residents, commuters, and visitors another option for trips spanning different parts of the Lower Mainland.

The Surrey Central location also provides a direct connection with the Expo Line and the region’s wider public transit network, while the Guildford Town Centre location extends the service within the city.

“Surrey is growing rapidly, and we’re excited to grow with it,” said Amitis Khorsandi, vice-president of Evo Car Share, in a statement. “These new locations make it easier for people to connect with transit, access destinations across Metro Vancouver and enjoy all the benefits of having a car when they need one.”

Evo already operates a different service model at SkyTrain’s King George Station. Through Evo Return, members can reserve a vehicle up to 30 days in advance, but must return it to the same designated parking area after their trip.

By comparison, vehicles picked up or dropped off at Surrey Central Station and Guildford Town Centre can be used for one-way journeys, including commutes, errands, airport trips, and travel elsewhere within Evo’s service area.
