Captured at different moments around East Vancouver, Commercial Drive, and on a recent trip to London, England, In Passing is a series of photographs taken by self-taught Vancouver based photographer, Brandon Artis. Portraying a feeling of urban isolation, the series came to life from the photographer’s interest in capturing everyday people in everyday surroundings – complete strangers that he has never interacted with before and never will.
In Passing was on display for one night only during the Emotions Open Mic event at Fortune Sound Club, and select prints are now available to be purchased on the artist’s website.
