Have you ever dreamed about visiting Europe? Well on the weekend of May 27 and 28 Europe comes to you as the 20th European Festival returns to Burnaby’s Swangard Stadium.

From Hungarian Goulash to Spanish Flamenco, you’ll find all the flavours and sounds of the continent at this annual event.

Hosted by the EuroFest BC Society, this event makes for the perfect excuse to lean back and enjoy two days full of music, foods, workshops, and games.

From Cevapcici to Chimney Cakes the Food Market enables you to eat your way around Europe without even boarding a plane. There’s even a beer garden so you can enjoy a beer or two in the sunshine.

This year’s activities include everything from blacksmiths to weavers, via wood carvers and even origami artists. In fact there’s something for everyone at the Arts & Market Plaza where you’ll be able to see their specialty crafts live and up close.

There will also be a live DJ on the second evening of the festival.
