EPIC Sustainable Living Festival Shifts Gears to Summer

Dec 19 2017, 3:51 pm

The newest event to Vancouver’s summer festival lineup, EPIC Sustainable Living Festival, is all about food, wine, and bands – but with a refreshing eco-twist. EPIC’s reinvention into an outdoor festival format at the iconic VanDusen Botanical Garden next weekend seems a smart fit – what better place to hold a festival centered around sustainable lifestyle and smart living than Vancouver’s most beautiful green space?

The focus of EPIC Fest is sustainable food, beverages and local live entertainment.  Eighteen hot up-and-coming BC Bands and more than 20 wineries and breweries will be on hand in the new Sip & Savour Garden, with outdoor festivities from sunrise to sunset including a KidsZone, bocce tournament, and Food Truck Alley (with 17 food trucks, more than Food Truck Festival) at VanDusen Garden in Vancouver.

Highlighting the link between the economy, the environment and the community, nearly 200 savvy businesses will offer high-quality products and services that are better for your health and friendlier to the earth in the Sustainable Living Marketplace. Western Canada’s largest eco-marketplace, you can purchase anything from clothing to cosmetics to home products, even toys!

Round it out with thought-leading speakers, gardening workshops, and e-waste collection on site (bring those old cell phones!), EPIC is shaping up to be one of the hottest tickets of the summer. Make sure to mark your calendars- July 6 and 7!
