EPIC Sustainable Living Expo 2011 (Contest)

Dec 19 2017, 12:56 pm

EPIC, Vancouver’s own sustainable living expo, is coming up this weekend at the Vancouver Convention Centre West (the new convention centre). This marks the fifth year for the event, which is the biggest eco-conscious expo in Western Canada.

From May 13th to 15th, the convention centre will be a hive of visitors and exhibitors, with over 300 booths on-site. The booths showcase many new products, fashions, home décor, food and more! There’s also the main stage with a number of speakers including Canadian broadcasting great George Stroumboulopoulos, and author Richard Louv, debuting his new novel The Nature Principle: Human Restoration and the End of Nature.

Some of the must see areas include the EPICurean Food Corner, where samples of many delightful nibbles and beverages can be found. There will also be demonstrations from some of Vancouver’s top chefs, including Ned Bell of Rosewood Hotel Georgia. After a snack, visit the Wellness Spa and enjoy yoga, mini-massages, eco-makeovers and more. Later cruise to the Fashion Marketplace and find out what’s hot in sustainable fashion. From casual comfort to business looks to wedding dresses, there’s a look for everybody here!
