New Vancouver Restaurant: El Azteca Modern Tequila Lounge

With their grand opening in November, El Azteca has already proven to be a high-calibre dining experience in Yaletown.

Taking over the old R.T.L. space, El Azteca provides Vancouver with authentic Mexican cuisine, the way it was meant to be eaten. These people know what they’re doing; it’s the same team that brought you the delicious food from Don Guacamole’s. The food has changed though, from the original West End gem. More variety, and definitely a slew of new flavours will fill your mouth with each dish. Vegetarian? There are plenty of options! A favorite is the homemade Guacamole Mumuca!

This wouldn’t be called a tequila lounge if it didn’t have tequila. Well, how about 70 different types of tequila? Not the kind you take shots with at the club on the weekends (although you can get those too); this is the real deal. The tequila at El Azteca is quality and will go down smooth, showing you real Mexican tequila.
