Eat Well Do Good Foodraiser features pop-up café and marketplace

Dec 20 2017, 1:47 am

Come hungry and leave happy with a full tummy and full heart at the annual Eat Well Do Good foodraiser on October 8.

Hosted by Nature’s Path, Eat Well Do Good raises food and funds for food banks in B.C. Over the past six years, Vancouverites have given generously, helping to raise over $600,000 worth of food to feed the hungry in Metro Vancouver.

On Thursday, October 8, the seventh annual foodraiser kicks off at 6 a.m. with coffee and grab-and-go breakfast bags. Then, from 7 to 11:30 a.m., breakfasters can fill up on Nature’s Path hot waffles with maple syrup, granolas and cereals, as well as freshly brewed, fair trade organic coffee and juice.

Between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., a hot and hearty lunch will feature a Que Pasa nacho bar, gooey grilled cheese sandwiches and savoury soups. Gluten free options and grab-and-go bags will also be available. Shop the organic marketplace anytime between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. where you can get a giant bag of Nature’s Path products and fresh produce for a $20 donation.

At Eat Well Do Good, your donation dollars go a long way – for every dollar donated, the food bank can purchase $3 worth of food. And what’s more – Nature’s Path has committed to double your donation to feed more people in our community (up to 40,000 lbs. in food).
