Duran Duran are bringing their Paper Gods tour to Vancouver, playing Rogers Arena on August 28.
The tour will see the renowned British band hit the road to promote their 14th studio album, produced by music makers Mark Ronson and Mr. Hudson. Supporting will be legendary American disco band CHIC, of Le Freak fame.
Since forming in the 1980s, Duran Duran have sold 100 million records, bringing a unique sound to audiences with echoes of glam, art-pop, and dance. Three decades on, Duran Duran show no signs of taking their foot off the pedal, creating a fusion of art, fashion, technology.
“Their unrivalled vision and keen interest in the ever-changing world around us have made them a truly global force to be reckoned with, and a group of unique and everlasting appeal,” said a press release from concert organizers Live Nation.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. local time this Friday, April 8 at Live Nation.
