The Vancouver Police Department has closed Dunsmuir Street between Granville and Seymour Streets due to a major incident.
As many as a dozen police vehicles and yellow tape are blocking the area.
Update: a man was seen hanging off the ledge of a 14th floor balcony. As of mid-morning, after successful negotiations with asking the man to climb back into safety, he was placed into police custody.
