Today Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith faced a hearing with NHL disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan for his hit in Wednesday’s 2-1 overtime win over the Canucks at United Center.
Keith received a minor penalty for elbowing for a hit on Vancouver forward Daniel Sedin at 13:36 of the 1st period. In case you missed the hit, don’t know how you could have, unless you’re living under a rock, here it is once again.
The NHL has handed Duncan Keith a 5 game suspension for the hit. Is that enough Canucks fans?
Daniel Sedin was injured on the play and is back in Vancouver for further evaluation. The Canucks have not released any details on Sedin’s condition.
