The setup for what is arguably Vancouver’s most elaborate haunted house began in early July and now the time has come for you to once again enter Dunbar Haunted House.
For those of you that love a good scare and have yet to pay a visit, come October The Dunbar Haunted House is a must visit attraction in Metro Vancouver’s long list of Halloween attractions. In fact the attraction has such a hit with locals that it moved to a new location last year. Spooks are now delivered at 8934 Shaughnessy Street in Vancouver (See map below for details).
This year marks the 8th year of the Dunbar Haunted House. In it’s inaugural year approximately 50 to 100 people from the neighbourhood came by. Fast forward a few years and thousands of people go through the haunt each year and in the process raised thousands of dollars for the Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.
The quality and level of care taken in decorating the house is impressive. The house features live actors at night from 7 pm onwards. For families with children you are encouraged to bring them for a day visit. Go check this out as it is truly one of this city’s must see Halloween attractions, you won’t be disappointed.
You will encounter lineups (on average 30 minutes) and remember as with any haunted house, do not run and touch the actors.
