Shell made waves in Metro Vancouver on Tuesday morning, and had drivers lining up for blocks, when they sold their Shell V-Power NiTRO+ for 10 cents per litre.
Cars lined up over a six block block to buy ultra-cheap gas, with tanks being filled up for less than $10. People who left their cars and carried jerry cans to the stations got turned away.
The deal was only available for one hour at two of the company’s gas stations in Surrey and Cloverdale.
