A suspected drunk driver made his own drive-thru window Sunday morning at an Abbotsford A&W Restaurant.
The incident took place at around 10 a.m. Sunday, according to Abbotsford Police, who say they initially got a report “of an erratic driver traveling west bound in the 32700 block of South Fraser Way.”
The APD add: “While police were being dispatched, another caller advised that a vehicle had crashed into the A & W Restaurant located in the 32500 block of South Fraser Way.”

The white Jeep was wedged into the side of the building, but fortunately no one was seriously injured, though there were a few diners inside the fast food restaurant at the time.
The APD were able to identify the 31-year-old male behind the wheel “who appeared to be suffering from signs of intoxication.”
The driver was detained for an impaired driving investigation.
