Dreams Take Flight Vancouver heads back to Disneyland

Dreams Take Flight is a non-profit charitable organization made up volunteers, dedicated to making magical memories for special kids in Vancouver and across the country.

This marks their 22nd flight to Disneyland, where on board will be 107 deserving children with social, physical or financial struggles.

“Our goal is to enable the children (and parents) to forget their every day worries for just one day in the happiest place on earth,” said Vancouver President Melissa Hance.

Air Canada Foundation donates the aircraft, while the volunteers work all year to raise $100,000 to pay for fuel, team uniforms, Disneyland admissions, all meals for the day, spending money to purchase whatever goodies the kids want along with many other surprises. They take just the children and not the parents for the whirlwind day.
