Vancouver Fire Department are responding to a reported hazmat situation at the 900 block of West Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver.
Many fire trucks and ambulances have been deployed to the incident at West Hastings and Hornby Street.
“Teams are investigating an unknown odour in the building and taking samples,” Jonathan Gormick, Public Affairs for Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services, told Vancity Buzz.
