
Vancouver Police are investigating a series of sexual assaults that happened in downtown Vancouver early Tuesday evening.
According to police, a report was made to 9-1-1 at approximately 5 p.m. after a man was seen on Davie Street, between Granville and Burrard streets, groping a number of women.
The man has been described as Aboriginal, in his 30s, 5’6″ tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and a small scar on his right cheek. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a black winter coat, light blue jeans, and white running shoes.
Shortly after, a man matching this description was arrested by police nearby, however, the women who were the victims of the sexual assaults could not be found.
