VPD investigating 'suspicious death' in Downtown Eastside

Vancouver Police are investigating what they’re considering to be a suspicious death in the Downtown Eastside.

VPD Sgt. Jason Robillard told Daily Hive that just after 6 pm on Sunday, a body was found in a suite in the area of Dunlevy Avenue and Powell Street.

And while they are considering the death suspicious, Robillard said that the person’s death has not been ruled a homicide.

“There is no further information to share are this time as the investigation continues,” he said.
