Adopt my Shop is an initiative by Daily Hive, West Coast Technology Innovation Foundation (WCTIF), and the IT in Canada collective. Find out more on how to support your local small businesses here.

Centrally located on Kingsway, Do Chay Saigon Vietnamese specializes in exceptionally flavourful vegetarian and vegan fare.

The family-run spot is owned by mom and dad Do, a couple who lived and worked hard in Creston and Prince George before coming to Vancouver, and operated by their son, Patrick Do, and his partner. The Do family are also behind two other Vietnamese spots in Vancouver, House Special and Green Lemongrass.

At Do Chay, the team offers modern Vietnamese food. For example, as a nod to traditional Vietnamese cooking, the Do family has created their own vegan sauce called “Ish” to replace fish sauce while elevating their menu options.

The menu includes popular dishes like vegan pho, coconut rice cakes, vegan spring rolls, coconut curry bowls, and a new spicy sesame stir-fry. These are currently available to order for takeout and delivery, and Do Chay is offering 10% off all orders placed over the phone and walk-in pickup orders.

Do Chay is open for takeout and delivery orders.
