Vancouver, meet DiP Ice Cream. The frozen treat purveyor recently opened at 2967 West Broadway, just in time for the summer.

Owned and operated by longtime friends Robyn Harding and Tanya Shklanka DiP Ice cream, serves homemade vanilla, chocolate, or twist soft serve (made with Birchwood Dairy cream) that is then dipped in Rainforest Alliance Certified, Bernard Callebaut chocolate.

Nine flavours of chocolate are available. There’s a spicy Mexican dark chocolate, peanut butter milk chocolate, and a white chocolate matcha up for grabs, in addition to other equally tempting options.

To top it off, customers can choose to sprinkle their soft serve creations with candies, cookies, nuts, or marshmallows, along with a drizzle of salted caramel, Dulce de Leche, or pomegranate syrup.

“We consider ourselves an elevated Dairy Queen,” remarks Harding in an email to Daily Hive.

DiP customers are able to enjoy their ice cream cones to-go or pull up a stool in the eatery’s quaint surrounds or on the streetside patio. DiP is open Tuesday to Sunday from 2 to 9:30 pm.
