Vancouverites, one of the biggest outdoor dining extravaganzas is returning to the city next month.
Yes, the all-white themed soiree Dîner en Blanc presented by Concord Pacific is hitting up Vancouver on Thursday, August 24.
More than 6,000 guests attended the event last year but it’s set to be even bigger than before for 2017. A high volume of invites have been sent out and guests will be enjoying a meal outside at not one but two secret locations.
Both locations will mirror one another and be in close vicinity. And you’ll still have the option to check out the joint Afterparty near both venues at Le Disco.
You can expect to indulge in delicious French cuisine from two culinary companies, Vital Supply Co + Cocktails and Canapes Catering. Plus, you’ll be able to enjoy a wealth of entertainment options on the multiple stages at each venue, as well as sip on delicious wines curated by Vancouver’s own New District.
Organizers behind the summer event, The Social Concierge, have drawn inspiration from Dîner en Blanc in Paris and they’re committed to making Vancouver’s special event a much more connected and intimate affair this year.
Although few details have been released, guests will be dining on grass in an elegant, charming ambiance. The main focus of the event for 2017 is bringing families and friends together to enjoy the overall experience.
You’ll easily be able to coordinate being at the same Secret Location with your friends ahead of time because pedestrian departure location groups will be attending one secret location, while bus departure groups will attend the other.
Registration to this exclusive outdoor dining event costs $40 per person and an additional $9 for your Dîner en Blanc membership. The first and second phases of registration are open online now, with Phase Three opening to the waiting list in waves beginning this Wednesday. And since a higher volume of invites are being sent out this year, you’ll have a very good chance at earning membership, so we suggest registering to the wait list now.
