Savvy Diners – this one’s for you. Dine Out Vancouver will be back full force January 24 to February 6, 2011 and if you follow them on Twitter (@myvancouver) you’ll get a chance to preview the menus before they are released to the general public. To help promote the event Tourism Vancouver has provided a $50 gift card to Darby’s Neighbourhood Pub in Kits!
As a veteran Dine Out Vancouver diner, I’d have to say viewing the menus is the strategic leverage you need to set reservations for your top picks. Dine Out is hugely popular and it’s no secret that getting last minute reservations is difficult, especially if you’re travelling with a group.
For those who aren’t familiar with Dine Out, it’s when the best dining establishments in Vancouver come together each year to offer three-course prixe fixe meals for $18, $28 or $38. It’s a great way to sample new places and explore your culinary cravings without breaking the bank. For businesses, it’s a way to get bums in seats and celebrate the industry during a traditionally slow time of the year. So all in all, everyone is a winner.
