Did Luongo confirm his return to Vancouver?

Roberto Luongo’s Tweets themselves make it worth joining the social media website, as he not only offers up hilarious gems, but hints at important news once in awhile.

When we all thought the goalie controversy between Luongo and Cory Schneider was over when the latter was traded to New Jersey for a draft pick, speculation arose that the contract-heavy player might refuse to report to next season’s training camp, as per TSN’s Darren Dreger.

After this week’s news that Luongo fired his old agent Gilles Lupien and replaced him with powerhouse representatives JP Barry and Pat Brisson (also representing Sidney Crosby and the Sedins), it lit another flame that the goalie would demand a relocation.

Until Wednesday, when @strombone1 stood his ground against expected backup, Eddie Lack.

It looks like Roberto has happily reclaimed his crease, and isn’t going to give it up any time soon.
