What would your reaction be if you came home and witnessed a close encounter of two male deer fighting on your driveway?
That’s what Nanaimo resident Michael Scott saw on Friday after stepping out of his car. The two bucks proceeded to fight in what appeared to be a battle over a doe (female deer) that was hiding in a nearby bush.
Scott video recorded the fight and was as close as eight feet away from the animals. The brawl on his property lasted for nearly 4 minutes before the younger, smaller buck ran away down the road and was chased by the older, bigger buck.
