You can go kayaking at night in North Vancouver this summer

Located in North Vancouver, Deep Cove Kayak is once again giving locals and tourists alike the opportunity to experience the city’s waters in an entirely different light this summer, with a special seasonal kayaking series.

Friday Night Lights runs from now until September 27 and offers guided tours of Indian Arm beginning at dusk each Friday.

The kayaks are outfitted with lights, but it will be dark enough for a possible shot at seeing the bioluminescent lights of the sea waters.

At $75 per person, the two-and-a-half tour details the geography, wildlife, and First Nations history of the area.

It’s fair to say that the whole experience will make for a memorable evening with friends, or will present the perfect opportunity to take someone on an unforgettable date.

And while it is a summer activity, you’ll want to make sure you bring extra layers of clothing, as it can cool down on the water during the evening hours.

Tours run from 8 pm to 10:30 pm every Friday and must be booked in advance.
